End User Architect / EUC Architect

EUC Architect (d/f/m) Permanent Employment – Sweden As a EUC Architect, you will define and own the EUC architecture strategy, roadmap, and design standards for enterprise environments. This is an Architect-level position requiring 10-15+ years of relevant experience, supporting our client's infrastructure and digital workplace services in Sweden. About The Team / Business Unit This role sits within our client's Infrastructure and Digital Workplace Services organisation, delivered by Cognizant as part of an updated enterprise support model. The team is responsible for the End User Computing & Digital Workplace tower, working closely with security, service management, and business stakeholders to keep the client's technology estate resilient, secure, and future-ready across Sweden. About You You bring deep expertise across endpoint management, VDI/DaaS, and modern workplace platforms, and are experienced in leading workplace transformation initiatives. You are comfortable providing technical governance, driving Zero Trust and endpoint security strategies, and engaging with stakeholders on solutioning and technical workshops. Your Key Result Areas

• Design solutions across endpoint management, VDI/DaaS, and modern workplace platforms.
• Provide technical governance and architecture oversight for EUC services and platforms.
• Lead workplace transformation initiatives, including Windows modernisation, Intune adoption, and cloud-based workplace services.
• Architect endpoint platforms covering Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, and device lifecycle management.
• Design and optimise VDI solutions using Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, and VMware Horizon.
• Integrate EUC platforms with Azure and enterprise identity services such as Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Drive Zero Trust, endpoint security, compliance, automation, patching, and application deployment strategies.
• Support solutioning, RFP responses, technical workshops, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement.

Must Haves Required & nice to have Skills:

• 10-15+ years of hands-on experience as a EUC Architect (or equivalent Architect role) within enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong working knowledge of EUC / Digital Workplace and Intune, SCCM, Autopilot.
• Demonstrated experience in Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon.
• Working knowledge of Azure, Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Ability to work within enterprise change, incident, problem, security, audit, and service management (ITSM) controls.
• Strong ownership, analytical troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and documentation discipline.
