elevator and escalator technician

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Elevator and Escalator Technician role located in Stockholm. The technician will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks on elevators and escalators in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Daily tasks include diagnosing faults, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and completing necessary repairs to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety regulations. The role involves documenting work performed, ordering or replacing parts, and communicating clearly with customers and colleagues about service status and technical issues. The technician will also participate in emergency call-outs, follow company safety procedures, and collaborate with the team to improve maintenance processes and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• Strong skills in Elevator Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair for elevators and escalators.
• Ability to work with Elevators, including understanding components, control systems, and safety mechanisms.
• Competence in Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults in elevator and escalator systems.
• Solid knowledge of Electricity, including reading electrical diagrams and working safely with electrical circuits.
• Vocational or technical education in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronic engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in field service or building systems maintenance is highly beneficial.
• Commitment to safety standards, risk assessment, and compliance with local regulations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple work orders and priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Stockholm area as needed.
