Electro Technical Officer (ETO) | Bulkcarrier

OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to sail on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and electronic systems on board, supporting safe cargo and ship operations.

• Key responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic and control systems, including power generation and distribution
• Maintain and repair navigation, communication and automation equipment
• Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate technical records and reports
• Support engine and deck teams during repairs, inspections and port calls
• Ensure all electrical work is done safely and in line with company and class standards
• Requirements:

• Valid ETO CoC and STCW certificates in line with international requirements
• Previous experience as ETO on bulk carriers or similar vessel type preferred
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical and electronic systems
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and readiness to work worldwide
