Overview PM Group has an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Package Owner to support the delivery of a major pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Denmark. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the electrical package from detailed design through construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery against safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives. The role will oversee power distribution systems, process and utility interfaces, critical electrical infrastructure, and commissioning activities within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams, the Electrical Package Owner will play a critical role in delivering reliable, compliant and validated electrical systems that support manufacturing operations.   • Lead and manage the Electrical package from design development through construction, commissioning and handover for a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
  • Oversee electrical design coordination including power distribution systems, process control integration, instrumentation interfaces and manufacturing support systems.
  • Manage electrical contractors and vendors, ensuring safe delivery, quality compliance and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate with Process, Automation, Mechanical, CSA and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of all electrical systems.
  • Supervise installation of critical electrical infrastructure including MV/LV distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, emergency generators, UPS systems and associated equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, EU directives, GMP requirements and pharmaceutical industry standards throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Monitor contractor performance, productivity and quality, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Manage package budgets, forecasting, change control processes and schedule performance to achieve project objectives.
  • Facilitate design reviews, technical specification approvals, constructability assessments and multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
  • Review and approve electrical drawings, method statements, test procedures and installation documentation.
  • Oversee electrical commissioning activities including energisation planning, functional testing, loop checking, integrated systems testing and support for validation activities.
  • Coordinate mechanical completion, turnover and handover activities for all electrical systems and associated documentation.
  • Lead resolution of technical issues, field changes and commissioning challenges affecting electrical scope delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records, inspection documentation, test reports and turnover packages in support of project close-out.
  • Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments and performance reporting to Construction Management and Project Leadership teams.
  • Drive a culture of safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement across all electrical project activities.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years experience delivering large-scale pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, chemical or industrial projects.
  • Strong experience with power distribution, process facilities, instrumentation interfaces and industrial electrical installations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary project interfaces.
  • Knowledge of GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environments and validation requirements.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, qualification and start-up activities.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Design & Build or EPCM project delivery models advantageous
