Electrical Package Manager | Denmark | Permanent Location: Denmark Employment: Permanent Sector: Data Centre / Mission Critical / Pharmaceutical / Industrial Discipline: Electrical Package Experience: €5m+ desirable Career Progression: Electrical Package Manager → Project Manager We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join a leading engineering and construction organisation delivering major projects across the Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Commercial sectors. This is a permanent position based in Denmark, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer or Package Manager to take ownership of major electrical work packages and develop towards a Project Manager position. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of designated electrical packages from planning and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning and handover. You will lead and coordinate Engineers, Supervisors, Subcontractors and Vendors, ensuring the package is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of assigned electrical packages.
  • Review scope, specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
  • Support package execution plans, procurement schedules and construction programmes.
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables and ensure readiness for construction.
  • Lead Engineers, Supervisors and Subcontractors to achieve programme milestones.
  • Coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment to maximise productivity.
  • Monitor installation progress and identify programme and delivery risks.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams, vendors and other project stakeholders.
  • Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
  • Promote a strong Health, Safety and Environmental culture across all package activities.
  • Monitor quality, inspections, testing and compliance with project requirements.
  • Support package budgets, cost control, variations, change and commercial risk management.
  • Monitor labour productivity and subcontractor performance.
  • Prepare regular package progress and performance reports.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, punch-list close-out and handover.
  • Ensure O&M manuals, record drawings and other project documentation are completed.
  • Support project close-out and lessons learned.
  • Provide leadership and development support to Engineers and Supervisors.

Requirements Essential:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in electrical construction/project delivery.
  • Proven experience within Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or Mission Critical projects.
  • Strong understanding of LV electrical systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience managing electrical subcontractors and coordinating complex site activities.
  • Experience with testing, commissioning and handover.
  • Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of project cost control.
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Quality and continuous improvement.

Desirable:

  • Experience managing electrical packages valued at €5m+.
  • Exposure to MV/HV electrical systems.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience with programme management and project reporting systems.
  • Experience working within fast-track construction environments.
  • Demonstrable ambition to progress into a Project Manager role.
