Electrical Engineer Location Southern Sweden Contract Type Contract Position Working Pattern

• 3 Week Rotation:
• Week 1: Early morning flight to arrive on site no later than noon on Monday. (Monday 12pm - 4pm & Tuesday - Saturday 7am - 4pm)
• Week 2: Monday to Saturday (Monday - Saturday 7am - 4pm)
• Week 3: Monday to Wednesday (Monday - Tuesday 7am - 4pm & Wednesday 7am - 11:30am). Travel home Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and delivery of electrical construction activities throughout various project stages.
• Review and understand electrical drawings, project specifications, and relevant technical submissions.
• Support the application of site QA/QC procedures, ensuring installations meet specified quality and project requirements.
• Work alongside subcontractors, supervisors, and the broader project team to coordinate daily electrical works on site.
• Track construction progress and provide programme and delivery updates to senior engineers and project management.
• Maintain accurate and current electrical project records, including technical submissions, construction information, and Health & Safety documentation.
• Participate in site coordination meetings, engineering reviews, and project planning sessions.
• Interface with the design function to raise, monitor, and close out Requests for Information (RFIs) and other construction information requirements.
• Support electrical inspections and installation checks, verifying completed works and systems against required project standards.
• Assist the commercial team by monitoring potential variations and providing information to support progress claims.
• Identify technical, design, and interface challenges and assist relevant teams in progressing these through to resolution.
• Support the management, tracking, and final close-out of electrical snagging and outstanding works.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience working within the electrical construction sector.
• Practical experience with electrical services including power distribution, lighting, and associated electrical systems.
• Good working knowledge of construction drawings, technical specifications, and site-based installation practices.
• Strong organisational, communication, and coordination capabilities.
• Ability to operate effectively within a multidisciplinary project team and coordinate directly with subcontractors.
• Sound technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods.
• Previous exposure to data centre, industrial, or mission-critical developments would be beneficial.
