What you'll do

Design the electrical infrastructure behind renewable energy From battery storage and solar parks to wind and hybrid plants, every energy project needs electrical infrastructure that brings the system together. At DIS/CREADIS, you will help develop that infrastructure, working on electrical Balance of Plant (eBoP) projects spanning substations, cables, protection systems and the equipment that connects generation and storage to the wider power system. We are looking for electrical power engineers at both experienced and senior levels. This permanent position can be based at any of our offices in Denmark, with opportunities for hybrid working. The work you will do You will contribute to a variety of eBoP assignments, taking electrical solutions from concepts and technical requirements through design, review and validation. Alongside the engineering work, you will contribute to project planning and execution, budget and resource coordination, and stakeholder management. Depending on your experience, you may take a leading role in customer discussions, technical decisions and the continued development of our Power Engineering capabilities. You will be part of an organisation of around 40 electrical engineering colleagues and work closely with our Power Engineering team, with opportunities to take responsibility and contribute beyond your technical tasks. Your ideas can help improve project delivery and processes, and we value the different experiences and perspectives people bring. Your experience and approach You have a background in electrical power engineering, preferably specialising in electrical energy systems. You bring at least two years of relevant experience for an Electrical Engineer position, or at least six years for a Senior Electrical Engineer position. You enjoy solving technical problems as part of a team and sharing your knowledge with less experienced colleagues. You also understand the importance of the customer’s priorities and are comfortable discussing requirements, options and technical decisions with stakeholders. We are interested in knowledge or experience across several of the following areas:

  • Electrical Balance of Plant design for BESS, photovoltaic, wind and hybrid energy systems.
  • MV and HV substations, cable systems and protection systems.
  • Concept development and technical requirement specifications.
  • Selection and optimisation of electrical components and systems.
  • Transformers, switchgear, transmission and distribution systems.
  • Project planning and execution, including budget and resource coordination.
  • Customer dialogue and stakeholder management.
  • Testing, validation and technical review of electrical systems.
  • Engineering tools such as PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD, AutoCAD or Primtech.

- Relevant field experience, for example as a supervising engineer, site engineer or electrician, is also valuable. Fluent English is required, and Danish language skills are preferred. Develop your expertise and contribute to the team The variety of assignments gives you opportunities to deepen your technical knowledge while building experience in customer collaboration and project delivery. You can also contribute to developing our Power Engineering area as its capabilities grow. We support technical career development from engineer to senior engineer, specialist and chief specialist, offering a path for those who want to progress through engineering expertise. Travel is not a routine part of the role, but you can expect approximately 10–20 travel days per year. About DIS/CREADIS DIS/CREADIS is an international engineering consultancy helping leading companies develop and scale advanced technologies across industries. Our mindset is “Big Enough to Deliver - Small Enough to Care.” We combine the opportunities and project scale of a global organisation with a supportive environment where people are trusted, encouraged to contribute and given room to grow. You will join an engineering community built on high technical standards, collaboration and continuous development. We support equality and diversity and therefore encourage all qualified individuals to apply for a position at DIS/CREADIS - regardless of ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion or age.
