Elecctrical Commissioning Lead – Data Centre Location: Oslo, Norway Sector: Hyperscale Data Centres Employment Type: Contract Discipline: Electrical Commissioning About the Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning lead to join a major data centre development. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong commissioning professional with an electrical background to take a leading role in the delivery of critical infrastructure on a large-scale data centre project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing commissioning activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring systems are tested, validated and handed over in line with project requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning activities across electrical and associated critical infrastructure systems.
• Oversee commissioning of MV/LV switchgear, UPS systems, generators, power distribution and associated equipment.
• Coordinate commissioning engineers, subcontractors, vendors and client representatives.
• Manage commissioning schedules, testing procedures and project milestones.
• Oversee L1–L5 commissioning activities, including functional testing and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
• Review commissioning documentation, method statements, test scripts and technical reports.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring effective punch-list management and closeout.
• Monitor commissioning progress, quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Work closely with construction, engineering and project management teams to ensure smooth transition through testing and handover.
• Ensure all commissioning activities are completed in accordance with relevant safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Commissioning Lead on large-scale data centre projects.
• Strong electrical commissioning background is essential.
• Solid technical knowledge of MV/LV systems, UPS, generators and critical power infrastructure.
• Experience managing commissioning activities across L1–L5 and IST.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors and vendors.
• Strong understanding of commissioning procedures, quality assurance and project handover requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international project environment.
