We’re excited to be launching a brand-new hyperscale data centre project in Stavanger, Norway, and are looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Lead to join the team from the very beginning. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing the commissioning strategy, developing procedures and leading commissioning activities from the early stages of construction through to final handover on an 18+ month flagship project. We also have projects starting in the coming weeks in Portugal. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead all electrical commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage Level 1–5 commissioning plans, scripts and test documentation.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation for vendor package equipment and site electrical systems.
• Develop commissioning schedules to ensure inspections, testing and handover activities are delivered efficiently.
• Participate in design reviews, commissionability assessments and pre-construction planning.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, vendors and client representatives.
• Lead functional performance testing, integrated systems testing (IST) and final commissioning activities.
• Manage FATs, SATs and electrical system energisation activities in accordance with project procedures.
• Drive technical issue resolution, snag management and commissioning close-out.
• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with project specifications, industry standards and health & safety requirements

Requirements:

• 5–10+ years’ experience in Electrical Commissioning within mission-critical or hyperscale data centre environments.
• Strong knowledge of Level 1–5 commissioning processes.
• Experience developing commissioning procedures, scripts and QA/QC documentation.
• Strong understanding of medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Experience commissioning switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, PDUs, ATS, busbar systems and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, specifications and technical drawings while identifying and resolving field issues.
• Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS), EPMS and SCADA integration.
• Excellent leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous hyperscale data centre experience is essential
