Education Program Manager

Through the Mentoring & Coaching Hub, we strengthen the people and teams who deliver our humanitarian mission by providing mentoring, coaching, conflict transformation, mediation, and professional development across the MSF movement. Education is at the heart of this work. As our Education Program Manager, you will help create meaningful, accessible, and high-quality learning experiences for colleagues across cultures, professions, and locations. Your work will strengthen the capabilities of staff at every level, from field projects to senior headquarters leadership. About The Role You will design, develop, and deliver evidence-based educational programmes in mentoring, individual and team coaching, conflict transformation, and mediation. Working closely with Programme Managers, you will translate the Hub’s strategy into practical curricula, learning materials, workshops, and development pathways. You will also help align our programmes with relevant external accreditation standards and contribute directly as a facilitator, coach, and/or mediator. This is an opportunity to shape learning across an international humanitarian movement. You will bring together pedagogical expertise, practical delivery, and collaboration to create programmes that help people grow and work more effectively together. Your Responsibilities In this role, you will:

• Develop and apply a coherent pedagogical framework across programmes in mentoring, coaching, conflict transformation, and mediation.
• Design curricula, course content, and engaging educational materials based on sound adult-learning principles.
• Work closely with Programme Managers to ensure that educational content supports programme strategy and delivery priorities.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and educational programmes.
• Contribute directly as a coach and/or mediator when required.
• Align curricula with relevant external accreditation standards and manage the process of obtaining and maintaining programme accreditation.
• Develop and maintain Continuous Professional Development pathways for mentors, individual coaches, team coaches, mediators, and conflict transformation practitioners.
• Monitor the quality and impact of programmes, taking participant feedback and evolving good practice into account.
• Adapt content and delivery methods for participants from different cultural, professional, and linguistic backgrounds.
• Contribute to the Hub’s wider education strategy and help make learning relevant and accessible across the MSF movement.

• Experience designing and delivering educational programmes, learning journeys, or training initiatives.
• A strong understanding of learning design, adult learning principles, and curriculum development.
• Professional coaching experience and a recognised coaching certification (such as ICF or equivalent).
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• The ability to connect strategic thinking with practical programme delivery.
• Fluency in English.

It Is An Advantage If You Also Have

• Experience in mediation and/or conflict transformation.
• Experience working with accreditation processes or external accreditation bodies.
• Experience from MSF, the humanitarian sector, or another international organisation.
• Working knowledge of French, Spanish, and/or Arabic.

• Permanent position, with a preferred start date in December 2026.
• Location: Location can be remote +/- 3 hours Oslo time. For administrative and hosting reasons, candidates based in Norway or the Nordic region are preferred. However, all qualified candidates will be equally considered, and we warmly encourage applicants across the region to apply.
• Salary: Salary depends on location. For candidates based in Norway, the position is placed in Salary Grade 17, currently NOK 764,345 - 808,592, depending on experience. For candidates based outside of Norway, compensation and benefits will be aligned with the policies and practices of the MSF entity hosting the contract.

The final employment arrangement will be coordinated between MSF Norway and the relevant MSF partner section in the successful candidate's country of residence. The employment conditions offered will therefore be aligned with the applicable local framework and hosting arrangements.
