eCall Verification Engineer

• Verify automotive eCall, Emergency Assist and Roadside Assistance

functionality

• Design and execute positive, negative and fault-injection test scenarios
• Work with TCAM/TCU or similar telematics ECUs
• Analyze modem and network behavior during emergency-call procedures
• Troubleshoot issues using signaling and modem logs
• Reproduce field issues in controlled lab environments
• Work with mobile network simulators and communication test equipment
• Support verification of LTE/5G, IMS, VoLTE/VoNR and emergency-call behavior
• Develop and maintain automated regression tests
• Support integration of tests into CI environments
• Document test cases, configurations, results and identified issues
• Collaborate with developers, telecom specialists, test automation engineers

and system engineers We are looking for

• You have strong experience within automotive telematics, telecom verification

or connected vehicle systems.

• Relevant experience includes several of the following:
• Hands-on legal eCall verification
• Next-generation eCall / NG eCall
• Automotive telematics, TCAM or TCU testing
• LTE / 5G / IMS / VoLTE / VoNR
• Emergency-call signaling and call flows
• RRC, NAS, IMS and SIP analysis
• Mobile network simulator-based testing
• Operator or regulatory certification testing
• Field issue reproduction and root-cause analysis
• Automated test development
• Tools and technologies

Experience with any of the following is highly valued:

• Python
• Robot Framework
• Git / Gerrit
• Jenkins or other CI environments
• QXDM / QCAT
• Wireshark
• Rohde & Schwarz CMW500 / CMX500
• Keysight UXM
• Anite SAS
• Jira

Experience with the following is considered a strong advantage:

• 112-based eCall
• Minimum Set of Data, MSD
• PSAP interaction
• IVS / In-Vehicle System verification
• Emergency-call behavior during roaming or limited network coverage
• SIM/eSIM emergency-call handling
• Market-specific eCall requirements
• Automotive diagnostics or embedded Linux
