What you'll do

The research will be in modern algebraic topology, with a focus in homotopy theory. The position is partly funded by the Swedish Research Council as part of the project “Local to global extensions of topological quantum field theories”. It is also possible to work on related topics including and not limited to stable homotopy theory, higher category theory, homological algebra and geometric topology. The main task for a doctoral student is to devote yourself to your doctoral studies, therefore you will be both admitted as a student and employed at Lund University. As a doctoral student you will be a part of a growing research group within an active research environment. Beside working on the project, you will have a possibility to attend seminars, conferences and dedicate part of the time to doctoral studies. The work duties may also include teaching and other departmental duties (no more than 20%). Please see the link: https://lu.varbi.com/en/what:job/jobID:970516/iframeEmbedded:0/where:4
