DevSecOps Engineer

Role: DevSecOps Engineer Consultant Location: Gothenburg, SE Type: Permanent/ Full-Time Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, automate, and maintain platform services and infrastructure.
• Provide runtime support for infrastructure and applications, ensuring high availability, reliability, and operational stability.
• Deliver technical guidance and support to development teams, promoting engineering best practices.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps, platform enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency through automation.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, deployment processes, and production operations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement sustainable solutions to minimize operational risks.

Technical Environment

• Programming & Scripting: Java, Groovy, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Bash
• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, SAM, EC2, ECS, IAM, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway
• DevOps & Automation: Git, Jenkins, Packer, Ansible, Docker, Artifactory
• Databases: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB
• Frontend Technologies: React, Next.js

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation mindset, with experience automating infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational processes.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting using one or more of the following: Python, Bash, Java, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly CloudFormation, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, and CodeBuild.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, practices, and tools, including Jenkins.
• Practical experience with infrastructure provisioning and configuration management tools such as Packer and Ansible.
• Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures using services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
• Good working knowledge of Linux environments and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• Experience with production support, system monitoring, service lifecycle management, and incident resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and adopting new technologies.

Nice to Have Experience with one or more of the following:

• Artifactory and artifact repository management.
• Xray or other software composition analysis and vulnerability scanning tools.
• SonarQube and code quality analysis.
• GitHub, Gerrit, or similar source control and code review platforms.
• AWS CDK and modern Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Database administration, performance tuning, and management.
