What you'll do

Want to help run a business-critical commerce platform, and automate the work along the way? Omnium Commerce is a 100% cloud-based commerce platform. Businesses use it to run all their sales channels, e-commerce, stores and customer service on one engine. We like to call ourselves a start-up with eight years of experience. Some of the largest retail and brand companies in the Nordics are our customers, and the market is growing fast. The product is in active development, on modern technology and without legacy code. The role Omnium is at the heart of commerce for some of the largest retailers in the Nordics. Our platform powers e-commerce, order management and in-store sales, handling critical operations every day of the year. As we grow, we're strengthening the operations team that keeps the platform stable and secure. As a DevOps Engineer in the operations team, you'll share responsibility for how our platform is built, deployed and run in Azure. You'll work closely with our development teams. The role involves a lot of code: pipelines, scripts and internal tooling. You might be a developer who has moved towards deployment and operations, or you come from operations and enjoy writing code. You prefer to fix a problem once. When something is done by hand, you automate it. When you find a better way of working, you make it the standard. You use AI tools in your daily work, for example when troubleshooting or when writing and reviewing code. What you'll work on

  • Hardening the platform and improving its stability, performance and security
  • Taking on the hardest problems: complex production issues that take real digging to solve
  • CI/CD pipelines, release processes, monitoring and observability
  • Automating manual work and setting standards for how we work
  • Running our SaaS platform in Azure

What we're looking for

  • A few years of experience in DevOps, platform or development work with systems in production
  • Solid experience with .NET and Microsoft Azure, which our entire platform is built on
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with observability, including monitoring, logging and alerting, and with troubleshooting in production
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, networking and security
  • Comfortable writing code: scripts, pipelines or application code
  • Interest in using AI tools in your work
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and English

Above all, you're a strong problem solver who is structured and curious, and you like systems that just work. What we offer

  • A real say in tools, processes and priorities in a growing operations team
  • A platform in heavy daily use, where uptime matters
  • Short paths from proposal to decision
  • AI tools as a normal part of the daily work
  • A flexible workday, competitive terms, and good pension and leave arrangements
  • A social workplace with professional sparring, company trips and events

About the employer We value collaboration, learning and well-being. The team combines long experience with a start-up mentality, and we share knowledge freely. We have been named one of the 50 fastest-growing tech companies in Norway several years in a row, and a Gazelle company for the past two years.
