What you'll do

Device Connectivity Expert Nordic Device manufacturers face growing pressure to make their equipment smaller, smarter, more efficient and easier to install. Reliable connectivity is a decisive part of that challenge. We are now looking for a dedicated Device Connectivity Sales Expert who wants to take an important role in accelerating Weidmüller success with device manufacturers, PCB connectivity and OEM customers. In this role, you will combine technical understanding with commercial drive to identify new opportunities, develop design-in projects and turn customer requirements into sustainable business. You will be a key driver in building strong customer relationships, expanding our position at target accounts and channel partners, and positioning Weidmüller as a leading partner for device connectivity in the Scandinavia market. What can we offer you? This is an opportunity to join an international company with a family-oriented corporate culture. You will work with high-quality products and modern technologies for device connectivity, PCB connection and OEM applications, while representing a strong and well-established brand. In this role, you will receive internal product and application training that helps you deepen your knowledge and stay close to new technologies, customer requirements and market trends. You will become part of an experienced sales team and have direct access to local application support, product experts, industry management and the global Device Connectivity network. At Weidmüller, you will have considerable freedom to shape how target accounts, design-in projects, channel partnerships and regional market opportunities are developed. This gives you the opportunity to influence both your own success and the future growth of Device Connectivity within Weidmüller. Your future duties:

  • Drive sales and support activities at key target customers and key channel partners across Scandinavia
  • Identify, develop and win design-in projects for Device Connectivity, PCB connectivity and OEM applications, including cross-selling opportunities
  • Work closely with target customers to understand their applications and translate technical and commercial requirements into the right solutions
  • Collaborate with Industry Managers, product management, application specialists and local sales colleagues to develop and execute industry and account strategies
  • Implement and support regional marketing strategies, campaigns and customer activities
  • Develop and execute plans to meet or exceed agreed sales, profit and budget targets
  • Travel is a natural part of the role, and you will have the opportunity to cover all of Scandinavia. The number of overnight stays per year is estimated at 20-40. A B driver's license is required for the position.

Who are you? We believe you are commercially driven and motivated by creating new business, developing customers and turning design-in opportunities into sustainable sales. You have a strong sales mindset, enjoy building trust with engineers, product managers, purchasers and decision-makers, and are comfortable managing longer sales cycles from first opportunity through specification and series production. Technical understanding is important, but you do not need to be the deepest technical specialist. You will be supported by our application and product experts. What matters most is your ability to understand the customer's device and business requirements, ask the right questions and connect those needs with relevant connectivity solutions. Experience in electrical engineering, electronics, PCB connectivity, device manufacturing or a comparable technical B2B environment is valuable. As a person, you are proactive, energetic and motivated by developing new market opportunities. You work in a structured and self-driven way, maintain a reliable opportunity pipeline and use market and account insights to prioritize your activities. You enjoy collaborating with local sales teams, channel partners, Industry Managers, application specialists and global product experts. With your customer focus, entrepreneurial mindset and solution-oriented approach, you contribute directly to the profitable growth of Device Connectivity within Weidmüller. You speak and write English fluently and one of the Scandinavian languages. Understanding German is an advantage.
