We are currently looking for a Department Manager Interior to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and contribute to exciting projects across the VARD value chain.

Duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead and support Production Coordinators and Supervisors across projects.
• Drive operational performance, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and installation teams to secure successful project execution.
• Resolve operational challenges and support the delivery of projects according to quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Contribute to planning, performance reporting, and development of the Interior department

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience within interior shipbuilding.
• Leadership experience and strong people management skills.
• Strong operational, planning, and resource management capabilities.
• Good understanding of HSE, quality, and project execution.
• Technical understanding of interior installation and production processes.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
