Demo Plant Operator

We are looking for a Demo Plant Operator to join our small team of 3 people based in Fredericia. In this role you will collaborate with the rest of the team to support activities related to operating and maintaining our demonstration plant. Are you the one we are looking for? How you will contribute to a world without fossil fuels Your primary tasks will be related to maintenance, preparation, and operation of the demonstration plant. Operating the demonstration plant during test campaigns, including:

• Preparing the plant and equipment for test campaigns
• Starting, operating, and safely shutting down the plant
• Monitoring process parameters, equipment, and overall plant performance
• Preparing and filling feedstock and raw materials
• Taking samples and performing basic checks during operation
• Recording operational settings, observations, and deviations
• Supporting the process team in troubleshooting operational issues and supporting corrective actions

Maintenance and preparation of the plant, including:

• Carrying out routine inspection and maintenance of equipment and process systems
• Cleaning and inspecting pipes and equipment between test campaigns
• Disassembling and assembling parts of the plant as required
• Installing and testing new equipment and process components
• Troubleshooting equipment and identifying potential causes of failures
• Preparing the plant for the next test campaign and ensuring equipment is ready for operation

As part of a small team, you will have a broad responsibility and a high degree of hands-on involvement in getting the plant ready, operating it safely, and ensuring that test campaigns run smoothly. What we are looking for We imagine that you are a marine engineer or have a solid technical background. You might be new to the field or could have experience working with high temperature or pressurized processes. You enjoy working in a small team where collaboration and knowledge sharing is key and you are a structured and proactive problem-solver who gets things done. As test campaigns can involve longer working days, it is important that you are flexible to work afternoon and evening shifts. You have a strong sense of responsibility and quality.
