What you'll do

Turn market signals into a demand plan the business can trust. What if better planning could help shape what happens next, not simply explain what has already changed? Across the Nordics, demand is influenced by changing customer needs, tenders, portfolio decisions and commercial priorities. The opportunity is to bring those signals together early, turn them into a clear local demand plan and help the business make timely, confident decisions. As our Demand Planner Nordics, based in Kungsbacka, you will own the local demand plan, play an active role in the Sales and Operations Planning process and act as the key link between the local organisation and Supply Planning. Your work will directly support product availability, healthier inventory and a more forward-looking way of planning. Your impact This is more than maintaining a forecast. You will connect commercial insight with planning discipline, create visibility around risks and opportunities, and help colleagues act on one reliable view of demand.

  • Create and maintain the baseline and value-added forecast, while managing daily, weekly and monthly exceptions in the planning tool.
  • Lead local demand and portfolio meetings, including segments and tenders, and prepare the S&OP management meeting.
  • Ensure the local demand plan is transferred accurately and on time to Supply Planning, escalating challenges and driving clear follow-up.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, service level and stock health, then work with commercial and supply colleagues on practical improvements.
  • You will also facilitate continuous improvement in the local S&OP process, strengthen information sharing and help prevent slow-moving and obsolete stock from building up.

What Will Make You Successful You are analytical, structured and commercially aware, but just as importantly, you enjoy working with people. You can move comfortably between detailed planning data and cross-functional conversations, bringing clarity when priorities compete or conditions change.

  • Hands-on experience in demand planning, forecasting, S&OP or a closely related supply chain role.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with planning systems; experience with Slimstock or a comparable tool is an advantage.
  • An understanding of how forecast quality, availability and inventory health connect to customer and business outcomes.
  • A collaborative style, with the confidence to lead meetings, challenge constructively and turn analysis into action.
  • Professional English and Swedish language skills.

The environment you will step into You will work closely with local management, Sales, Category and Product Management, Tender and Contract teams, Supply Planning and Warehousing. The role gives you a broad view of the business and the opportunity to influence how demand signals become decisions. Based in Kungsbacka, with limited travel, you will join a Nordic planning environment that is building stronger routines, clearer ownership and better collaboration. It is a role for someone who wants to improve today’s plan while helping create a more resilient planning approach for tomorrow. Ready to plan what comes next? If you want to turn commercial insight into better availability, healthier inventory and stronger decisions, we would like to hear from you.
