Data Specialist, Freight Intelligence

The Impact You'll Make As our Data Specialist, Freight Intelligence, you'll play a key role in shaping the digital future of Global Freight Procurement by driving the development, governance, and adoption of digital systems and AI-enabled solutions across freight operations. As demand for freight analytics and business insights continues to grow, we're strengthening our Freight Digitalization & ESG team to ensure the underlying data foundation remains scalable, reliable, and ready for future needs. In this role, you'll help connect business requirements with digital solutions, ensuring that our systems, integrations, and data platforms support both today's operations and tomorrow's opportunities. Working closely with colleagues across Freight Procurement, you'll help build the foundation that enables smarter decision-making, stronger data quality, and continuous innovation across our global freight landscape. What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and continuously improve the freight data foundation through system integrations, data quality management, governance, and platform reliability.
• Lead initiatives and explore AI-driven opportunities that improve freight processes and create measurable business value.
• Develop and maintain digital system roadmaps aligned with Freight Procurement priorities and Danfoss' broader digital strategy.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to implement and govern scalable digital solutions and business systems.
• Support user adoption, training, and capability building to maximize the value of new digital solutions, technologies, and ways of working.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with digital solutions, business systems, data platforms, or technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
• A solid understanding of system integrations, data flows, governance principles, and modern digital platforms.
• Experience managing or coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders across business and technical environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into clear business language.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, combined with curiosity for innovation, automation, AI, and continuous improvement.

Experience within freight, logistics, transportation, or supply chain is beneficial, but not required. We're equally interested in candidates who bring relevant experience from other industries and can help us strengthen our digital capabilities. What You'll Get From Us
