The Opportunity Here as the Data Solution Architect you will join a Corporate IT Architecture team with direct exposure to senior business stakeholders — not just engineering Our customer / your employer is a major Nordic enterprise that is overhauling its corporate systems landscape - ERP & Data Platforms. This is replacing a legacy environment of disconnected, siloed systems across Finance, Risk, and HR, that now require centralisation. As the Solution Architect for the new Centralised Data Platform (DataBricks / Azure Data Factory), you will be responsible for making the transition to a single data platform one the business gets behind. The Target Architecture is already defined, so here your job is more about translating it into an actionable, phased change journey that demonstrates value to the business at every step. This is not primarily a hands-on build role. It suits someone more strategic than deeply technical — who understands data platforms and ideally financial reporting, but whose real strength is aligning people across the organisation. What You'll Do

• Define and evolve the target architecture for the corporate domain Data Platform
• Translate business goals into architectural direction and design principles
• Drive alignment and consistency across teams and domains
• Communicate trade-offs and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support financial and enterprise reporting requirements through strong data architecture
• Guide and support teams without being the primary implementer
• Contribute to architectural governance and decision frameworks

What We're Looking For

• Experience defining and driving architecture for data platforms, ideally supporting financial or enterprise reporting
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders, ideally in finance or corporate functions
• Strong grasp of data and integration concepts in enterprise environments
• Experience spanning multiple teams and domains in large-scale transformations
• A bonus, not essential: background in a regulated, data-intensive industry

You don't need to be a textbook architect. This role rewards a pragmatic, people-first approach over a purely academic one — someone as comfortable in a stakeholder workshop as in a technical design review. Details 📍 Solna— hybrid, 3 days/week in office 💰 60,000–80,000 SEK/month 🏦 Pension: FTP1
