What you'll do

About Us Hoopoz is a SaaS platform that helps brands monitor digital advertising, identify potential compliance violations and turn scattered signals into evidence they can act on. By bringing monitoring and analysis into one place, we help teams understand what is happening across their markets and where action is needed. Our team brings together experts from Lithuania, Denmark, Croatia and Ukraine. Together, we are building a clearer picture of how advertising connects to the businesses and affiliates behind it. We explain our findings clearly, support our conclusions with evidence and handle sensitive information with discretion. Why this role? You will own that question and measure how our detection actually performs, find where it breaks, and improve it. This role calls for someone who is not satisfied with an accuracy number, who asks what it was measured on and what happens at the edges. You should enjoy building methods where none exists yet, and taking responsibility for conclusions others will act on. What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of hands-on data science experience, with models or analyses you took from raw data to production
  • Strong Typescript, Python and SQL experience, and fluency with the standard data science stack (pandas, scikit-learn, or similar)
  • Solid grounding in evaluation — precision, recall and the trade-offs between them
  • Experience designing QA frameworks and tracking quality metrics
  • Experience building and maintaining labelled datasets — sampling, annotation guidelines, agreement, class imbalance
  • You turn findings into recommendations people act on
  • Fluent in English

Considered a strong advantage

  • Experience with NLP or content classification: text detection, multilingual data, or working with LLMs and RAGs
  • Background in trust & safety, content moderation, fraud detection, AdTech or compliance-driven products
  • Experience designing evaluation frameworks from scratch
  • Familiarity with regulated industries (iGaming, fintech, insurance, pharma) and what evidence means there
  • Knowledge of the EU or USA regulatory landscape around online content and advertising (DSA, FTC, consumer protection, advertising standards)

What we offer

  • Starting from 3,500 EUR (depending on experience)
  • Ownership of a function
  • Direct line to founders
  • Fully remote position and flexibility
