Our client is a European research and development organisation working on next-generation vehicle architectures, digital technologies, and intelligent systems. This is a longterm, full-time, on-site assignment. WE OFFER Longterm, full-time, on-site Data Product Engineer assignment on Sweden's west coast. JOB DESCRIPTION Join the Data Solutions and Products team as a Data Product Engineer. You will develop and maintain internal vehicle data services (analytics, reporting and ML/AI pipelines) and operate and continuously improve global data products in the EU — covering configuration, releases, troubleshooting, validation and data quality monitoring. Responsibilities: - Design, develop and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for internal vehicle data services - Build data processing workflows for cleansing, transformation, modelling and preparation for analytics, reporting and ML/AI - Develop and maintain data products such as vehicle data analysis services, dashboards and regulatory or battery health reports - Collaborate with infrastructure and product teams to operate pipelines, data products, cloud services and integrations - Monitor pipeline performance, data quality and system health; diagnose and resolve issues - Design and maintain data models for reporting and analytics; develop simple Power BI dashboards - Document pipelines, architectures, workflows and operational procedures - Operate and improve EU data products (configuration, release/upgrade, validation, issue resolution, quality monitoring) - Support data consumers with technical guidance and data access; manage product issues and change requests with global teams - Perform product validation and cloud-to-database testing to ensure availability, functionality and quality REQUIREMENTS - 2–4 years in data engineering, data product development, data platform operations or related - Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related (or equivalent experience) - Practical experience with batch or streaming pipelines and data processing workflows - Good understanding of data warehousing, modelling, ETL/ELT and data quality - Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python or another programming language - Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, Flink or equivalent - Experience with cloud data platforms (preferably AWS S3/Redshift/EMR/Glue and/or Alibaba Cloud) - Experience developing or supporting data services, dashboards or other data products - Experience with data product operations (config, release, validation, troubleshooting, quality monitoring) - Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, testing, monitoring and production support - Ability to use Power BI; basic understanding of data security, access, privacy and compliance - Fluent English; Chinese strongly preferred - On-site west coast Sweden, longterm, full-time PREFERRED - Databricks, Snowflake or equivalent platforms - Connected vehicle or automotive data services - Previous Geely-group data domain experience YOUR PROFILE Pragmatic, self-driven and solution-oriented.
