Data Platform & Analytics Developer

We are now looking for a Data Platform & Analytics Developer to strengthen our internal capabilities in data, analytics, and Azure-based solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across data engineering, business intelligence, and application development within Microsoft's technology ecosystem. This is a group-level role that works across all business units and functions, requiring close collaboration and engagement throughout the organization.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Data Platform & Analytics Developer, you will play a key role in the development of OSTP's data platform and reporting solutions. You will work across the entire data value chain, from data ingestion and transformation to reporting, analytics, and digital solutions that create business value.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining data flows from Dynamics 365, Excel, and other business systems into our Data Platform.

• Creating and enhancing Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.

• Designing and maintaining semantic models to ensure reliable and consistent business reporting.

• Working with Azure-based applications, integrations, and automation solutions.

• Contributing to the development of our Data Platform, Reporting Framework, and Azure Governance practices.

• Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, value-adding solutions.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a passion for business improvement. You enjoy solving problems, taking initiative, and turning data into insights that support better decision-making.

We believe you have experience with:

• Microsoft Power BI

• Data modeling and semantic models

• DAX, Power Query, and SQL

• Data engineering and data transformation

• Microsoft Azure

• Programming, preferably in Python and/or C#/.NET

Experience in the following areas is considered an advantage:

• Microsoft Fabric

• Dynamics 365

• Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or similar technologies

• API development and system integrations

• Manufacturing or ERP environments
