We are looking for our current client a Data Governance Consultant / Project Manager in HR Data Domain.
Full-time position until end of year, continualtion very possible. 3 days a week in Helsinki, rest remote. Finnish language is not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Plan, phase, schedule, and coordinate the HR data domain takeover project with the HR domain and project team
Facilitate definition of the HR data domain scope, entities, common language, semantics, and business concepts
Facilitate definition of minimum AI-ready data quality requirements and metadata standards for HR domain data
Coordinate mapping and prioritization of physical HR data across systems and the overall data landscape
Facilitate definition of controls that ensure AI-ready content at data creation, together with a clear error-handling model
Facilitate creation of the operational HR data domain governance model, including roles, responsibilities, decision-making, maintenance, prioritization, processes, and tools
Run shared project tasks and collaboration across HR, Data & AI, and IT specialists
Produce and maintain project documentation, plans, work breakdown, milestones, Gantt schedule, decisions, and status reporting
Must-have skills:
Strong project management and facilitation skills in a corporate environment
Practical understanding of data governance and data domain operating models
Ability to plan and drive a cross-functional project, including work breakdown, phasing, milestones, Gantt schedule, dependencies, and shared team actions
Ability to facilitate data domain scope, entity, concept, semantic, and business definition work without taking ownership of business decisions
Understanding of data and IT landscapes, metadata, documentation, data quality, controls, and issue management
Ability to translate between HR/business, Data & AI, and IT stakeholders
Strong documentation, communication, and concise progress-reporting skills
Proactive, structured, and hands-on working style
Additional information:
As this is HR area role, any work experience on HR / personnel / workforce management / staffing is a plus. If you have it, be sure it is pointed out in cv.
