Data Engineer GCP

Job Description: Senior Cloud Data Engineer – GCP Location: Stockholm/Solna, Sweden Experience: Senior Level(4+ Years) Start Date: October 26, 2026 End Date: August 31, 2028 Language: English Working Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join the Client Reporting team and help modernize legacy platforms into a cloud-based data ecosystem using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves hands-on development, technical design, data integration, and building scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, APIs, and data products.
• Modernize legacy data platforms and integrate them with GCP.
• Build and optimize data solutions using BigQuery, Python, and SQL.
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows and data integration solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps, architecture decisions, and implementation.
• Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and adherence to technical standards.

Required Skills

• Several years of experience in software development and data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of Python, BigQuery, and SQL.
• Experience with Dataform, Airflow, Pub/Sub, and Docker.
• Understanding of data warehouse and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with ETL processes and data modelling, including dimensional modelling or Data Vault.
• Knowledge of GitLab, CI/CD, DevOps, and Terraform.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
