Data Engineer (GCP)

AddanEx JOB POSTING: Title: GCP Data Engineer Location: Stockholm, Sweden Onsite / Remote: Onsite 3 days per week Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 Months + Extensions Utilisation: 40 Hours per week Languages: Swedish / English Mission description We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to develop and further develop data flows and pipelines for collecting, processing and analyzing large amounts of data. You will work with data modeling, transformation, data quality and optimization to make data accessible and useful for the business. The role involves close collaboration with operations, development teams, source system owners, and data and information architects. You are also expected to contribute to best practices in code, modeling, and documentation. You will:

• Build and maintain data flows for collection, storage, and processing of large data sets.
• Work with advanced data modeling and transformation for analysis and reporting.
• Develop and optimize pipelines to ensure efficiency and availability.
• Responsible for data quality and security, making data usable for analysts and decision makers.
• Drive best practices in code structure, data modeling and documentation.
• Maintain close dialogue with the business and also collaborate closely with other development departments, source system owners and data and
• information architects.

The consultant must have at least 6 years of experience in:

• Building and maintaining data flows for collecting, storing and processing large amounts of data.
• Advanced data modeling and transformation for analysis and reporting.
• Development and optimization of pipelines with a focus on efficiency and availability.
• Data quality and data security as well as making data available to analysts and decision makers.
• To establish and drive best practices in code structure, data modeling and documentation.
• Close collaboration with operations, development departments, source system owners, and data and information architects.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Current and recently used skills for all of the following:

• Jinja SQL/DBT
• GCP (BQ/Cloud functions)
• Python
• Kimball modeling
• GitHub CI/CD
