• Infrastructure Design & Planning: Create blueprints and roadmaps for physical facility layouts, server racks, high-density AI/HPC clusters, and cabling architectures.
• Power & Cooling Integration: Plan resilient high-voltage power distribution, UPS systems, backup generators, and advanced thermal management (such as liquid or direct-air cooling).
• Network & Storage Architecture: Design scalable network fabrics (e.g., VXLAN, BGP EVPN, Cisco ACI, or spine-leaf topology), storage systems, and multi-cloud/hybrid-cloud interconnects.
• Security & Compliance: Implement physical security controls, surveillance, access protocols, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Capacity & Disaster Recovery Planning: Forecast long-term resource growth, manage space allocation, and build high-availability disaster recovery (DR) plans.
• Sustainability & Efficiency: Optimize facility metrics like Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE), and green data center initiatives.
• Performing infrastructure design, strategy, and services and participating in the implementation of computer system, network, storage, and security infrastructure
• Researching and analyzing new technologies, materials, construction methods, and environmental impact
• Providing technical analysis, integration expertise, and critical data analysis related to system architecture in alignment with overall data center strategy
• Maintaining a functional relationship with multi-disciplinary teams to support overall resource efficiency
• Leading and supporting data center virtualization, service delivery, automation, and implementation
