Role snapshot
Full-time or part-time / student position TEQQ is looking for a German-speaking colleague to help us find new opportunities to purchase used enterprise IT hardware directly from companies across the DACH region. Experience is welcome — but it isn't the deciding factor. We can teach you IT hardware. We can teach you our market, how to structure conversations and how to handle objections. What is much harder to teach is the motivation to pick up the phone, make the next call and create opportunities from scratch. What will you actually do? TEQQ purchases used enterprise IT equipment from end-users – including servers, storage, networking equipment and other data center hardware. Your role is to find companies that may have equipment available and start the conversation. Y ou will: • Research and identify relevant companies and decision-makers across Germany, Austria and Switzerland • Proactively contact potential sellers – with the phone as one of your primary tools • Find out what equipment companies are replacing, decommissioning or planning to dispose of • Identify both immediate opportunities and upcoming IT lifecycle projects • Follow up on conversations and build relationships with relevant contacts • Collect equipment information and coordinate the process once an opportunity has been identified • Keep your pipeline structured and make sure opportunities don't disappear because nobody followed up Pricing stays with our experienced team. You are not expected to know what a server is worth on day one or independently price complex IT infrastructure. Your job is to open the door, qualify the opportunity and move it forward. Who are we looking for? Someone with initiative. You should be comfortable working independently and creating your own momentum rather than waiting for a list of tasks. We are particularly looking for someone who: • Speaks German fluently or at native level • Is comfortable working in English • Is willing to pick up the phone and initiate conversations • Is a self-starter and self-motivator • Is curious and comfortable asking questions • Can hear “no” and still make the next call • Takes ownership of follow-ups and opportunities • Enjoys the commercial side of business Experience within sales, business development, IT, procurement or sourcing is an advantage, but not a requirement. If you're a student with the right drive, we'll teach you. If you're an experienced candidate who can take the role further, we're equally interested in talking. Compensation The compensation consists of a fixed base salary + commission linked to the contribution margin of the cases you generate. In other words: when the opportunities you create turn into profitable business, you participate in the upside. We want the model to reward actual commercial contribution – not simply the number of calls made. The exact package will depend on whether you join us full-time or part-time/student, as well as your experience. What do we offer? You'll get hands-on exposure to international B2B business, enterprise IT and the circular IT market. We'll provide the training you need: fundamentals, our sourcing model, target customers, conversation structure, qualification, objection handling and the commercial process behind a deal. In return, we'll give you room to work independently and expect you to take ownership of your market. The role can be structured as:
And one important point: If the idea of picking up the phone and calling someone you've never spoken to makes you uncomfortable, this probably isn't the right role. If it makes you curious about what opportunity might be hiding behind the next call, we'd like to hear from you.
