We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Manager to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and contribute to exciting projects across the VARD value chain. Duties and responsibilities The Cyber Security Manager will be responsible for cyber security governance, compliance, and product security across Vard Electro's portfolio. You will drive our cyber roadmap, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and contribute to the development of secure products and cyber-related services.

  • Own and maintain Vard Electro's cyber security roadmap.
  • Ensure compliance with IACS UR E26/E27, IEC 62443, EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and other relevant standards, laws, rules and regulations.
  • Lead Cyber Type Approval and cyber certification activities with classification societies.
  • Define and manage cyber security requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support Product Managers and development teams in implementing secure-by-design principles.
  • Drive supplier and supply chain cyber security requirements.
  • Identify and develop new cyber security products, services, and commercial offerings.
  • Lead and develop the Cyber Security team.
  • Potentially assume product management responsibility for future cyber security products and services

Qualifications

  • Relevant higher education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with cyber security in IT and/or OT environments.
  • Knowledge of maritime cyber security requirements and regulations.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and IACS E26/E27.
  • Experience with cyber risk assessments, secure product development, and certification processes.
  • Experience with team management
