Cyber Security Expert - Endpoint Vulnerability Management

🔐 Cyber Security Expert (Endpoint Vulnerability Management) 📍 Gothenburg | 🏢 Onsite 1–2 days/week 📅 Start ASAP | ⏳ 6 months, with a good chance of extension We’re looking for a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to take technical ownership of Endpoint Vulnerability Management within a large and complex enterprise environment. This is not an operational patching role. We’re looking for a broad cybersecurity professional who can connect vulnerabilities to business risk and shape strategy, architecture, governance and security products that measurably reduce exposure. Key responsibilities:

• Lead risk-based vulnerability management and prioritisation
• Drive security architecture and technology strategy
• Ensure vulnerability visibility across endpoints, cloud, on-prem and OT environments
• Develop governance, KPIs, dashboards and executive risk reporting
• Identify root causes and drive long-term security improvements
• Translate emerging threats into guidance, playbooks and training
• Work with Product Management on new security solutions and PoCs

We’re looking for:

• Extensive cybersecurity experience in senior technical/architectural roles
• Strong vulnerability management experience in large enterprise environments
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls and/or IEC 62443
• Experience with tools such as Qualys, Tenable or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud, identity and Zero Trust
• Ability to communicate complex cyber risks clearly to both technical and senior stakeholders
• Excellent English communication skills

Desirable: Manufacturing/OT security experience, CISSP/CISM/CISA/OSCP or similar certifications, SIEM/SOC and threat intelligence experience, PKI/cryptography, application security, scripting/automation and agile product development.
