Cyber Security Engineer

Cyber Security Engineer: Recann will act as the work finding services for this specific role. Overview: We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to operate, troubleshoot, and improve cloud-based cyber defense platforms, telemetry pipelines, and security integrations. Key Responsibilities: Operate, troubleshoot, and improve cloud-based cyber defense platforms, telemetry pipelines, and integrations. Develop automation and platform improvements using Python, Terraform, Git, and CI/CD. Monitor service health, data flow, performance, cost, and security, investigating failures to implement sustainable fixes. Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, architecture decisions, risks, and lifecycle plans. Collaborate with SOC analysts and other engineering teams to turn operational requirements into reliable, reusable solutions. Required Experience & Competencies: Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure Engineering experience. Good Linux/*nix skills, including navigating and troubleshooting virtual machines, containers, and services. Practical Python development and automation experience. Experience with containers and Kubernetes. Security engineering background with SIEM/SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, or large-scale telemetry experience. Senior individual contributor capable of independently leading technical initiatives, coordinating across teams, making sound engineering decisions, and driving work from unclear problems to documented production outcomes.
