What you'll do

Customer Project Coordinator Workplace: Yderlandsvej 5, 2300 Copenhagen S Employment: Full-time Languages: Fluent in Danish and English About Vermland Vermland is a Danish design company specializing in solid oak kitchens, wardrobes, bathroom vanities, and custom furniture. Every piece we create is crafted with care, precision, and timeless design in mind. Our mission is to build beautiful, long-lasting products that reflect true craftsmanship and respect for materials, people, and the environment. We work closely with our customers from the early design phase through production, delivery, and installation, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and professional experience at every stage of the process. This is a central part of how we work and operate. The Role We are looking for a structured, service-minded and solution-oriented Customer Project Coordinator to join our team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating our customers’ projects from order confirmation through production, delivery and final installation. You will act as the central point of contact between customers, internal teams, suppliers and installation partners, ensuring that timelines, deadlines and dependencies stay aligned with the customer’s overall project plan. The role is highly hands-on and combines project coordination, communication and problem-solving. You will manage multiple projects at different stages, coordinate with partners such as worktop suppliers, appliance suppliers, logistics providers and installers, and handle practical issues such as shipping, customs and other logistical challenges along the way. You should be comfortable working independently, maintaining a strong overview and prioritising effectively when several matters require your attention at once. Most importantly, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers feel informed, supported and confident throughout the process — including when plans change, issues arise or dissatisfied customers need to be handled professionally and constructively. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact person for customers after order confirmation, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout the project
  • Take ownership of and drive customer projects from order confirmation to final installation.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, keeping track of timelines, deadlines and actions.
  • Manage coordination between suppliers, delivery schedules, installers, and other external partners.
  • Handle issues that arise during production, shipping, delivery or installation in a structured and solution-oriented way
  • Coordinate internally to identify challenges and ensure they are addressed effectively.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the resolution process and ensure projects are closed satisfactorily
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information in our internal systems to ensure smooth processes both internal and external.

Your Profile We are looking for someone who is structured, service-minded, and enjoys coordinating multiple projects at the same time while managing ongoing adjustments. You are comfortable taking ownership and working independently, while knowing when to involve others. You have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with proven project management or coordination responsibilities
  • A highly structured and organised way of working
  • Comfortable working independently, making decisions and taking ownership
  • Strong people and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders while maintaining progress
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Solid experience working with digital tools and systems
  • Fluency in both Danish and English

Experience from project-based environments with long customer journeys is an advantage although not a requirement. What We Offer

  • A key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Danish design company
  • A collaborative and ambitious design-driven work environment
  • A workplace focused on craftsmanship and quality
  • A combined office and cozy showroom located at Yderlandsvej 5 in Copenhagen
