CSA Engineer

CSA Engineer Working Location: Southern Sweden Contract Type: Contract Position Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and delivering all Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) activities throughout the various stages of the project.
• Examine and understand construction drawings, project specifications and associated technical information.
• Support site QA/QC procedures, ensuring completed works meet the required project and quality standards.
• Work closely with subcontractors, site supervisors and other members of the project delivery team to coordinate day-to-day construction activities.
• Track construction progress on site and provide programme updates to senior engineering and project management personnel.
• Maintain accurate and current project records, including technical submissions, construction documentation and Health & Safety information.
• Participate in site coordination meetings, engineering reviews and project planning sessions.
• Coordinate with the design function to raise, monitor and close out Requests for Information (RFIs) and other construction information requirements.
• Provide support with setting-out activities, inspection of completed works and verification of site dimensions.
• Assist the commercial function by recording potential variations and providing information required to support progress claims.
• Recognise technical, design and coordination challenges and support the project team in developing appropriate solutions.
• Support the tracking, management and final close-out of CSA snagging and outstanding works.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a comparable construction-related discipline.
• A minimum of 3+ years' experience working within CSA construction.
• Practical experience involving Civil, Structural and Architectural packages on construction projects.
• Good working knowledge of construction drawings, technical specifications and site-based construction practices.
• Strong communication, coordination and organisational capabilities.
• Comfortable working as part of a wider project team and coordinating directly with subcontractors.
• Sound technical knowledge of CSA construction methods and delivery processes.
• Previous exposure to data centre, industrial or other mission-critical developments would be beneficial.
