CRM & Martech Engineer

We’re looking for a CRM & MarTech Engineer who loves building clean software, moving fast, and getting close to the people using what they create. What you’ll do You’ll take real, messy business challenges across our commercial and customer-facing teams and turn them into scalable, working software. You'll also explore what the next generation of CRM & MarTech could look like in an AI-first world, experimenting with solutions both inside and outside our existing platforms.

• Design and build integrations & tools: Connect CRM platforms with internal services, build lightweight internal web apps, and automate cross-system workflows.
• Solve problems from end to end: Work directly with colleagues in Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing to understand pain points and turn prototypes into a reliable, secure and maintainable production solutions.
• Build with modern AI tooling: Leverage AI-native development tools (like Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex) to prototype, refactor, and ship faster.
• Maintain a high engineering bar: Ensure reliability, data privacy, and security across business-critical platforms and merchant data.
• Eliminate operational friction: Identify repetitive manual tasks across our tech stack and automate them so the team can focus on solving new challenges.

AI-first engineering For us, AI-first engineering is about more than using coding assistants to work faster. We believe AI is fundamentally changing how software can be built and what a small engineering team can accomplish. We expect you to actively explore these possibilities, using AI throughout development while retaining the engineering judgment to challenge its output, recognise poor solutions and take responsibility for what goes into production. What you bring We care most about strong software engineering fundamentals, curiosity, and the drive to figure things out:

• Solid software engineering foundation: You're a product-minded software engineer, strongest in backend development, APIs and integrations, with the ability to build useful solutions end-to-end. Confident with REST APIs, webhooks, data modeling, and testing (e.g., Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or similar).
• AI-assisted development mindset: You use AI coding tools to work smarter without compromising code quality, security, or engineering judgment, and are excited to explore how AI can transform CRM & MarTech.
• Pragmatic problem-solving: You prefer building the simplest effective solution rather than over-engineering or forcing everything into rigid platform configurations.
• Comfort with enterprise platforms: Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation platforms (like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketing Cloud) is a plus, but curiosity and ability to learn new systems quickly matter most.
• Strong collaboration & ownership: You enjoy talking directly to non-technical stakeholders, asking sharp questions, and taking full ownership from idea to deployment.
• Collaborative team player: You genuinely enjoy working with others and contribute to an open, warm and informal team environment. You share work and uncertainty early, ask for and offer help, challenge ideas constructively and actively share knowledge. You take ownership without feeling you need to solve everything alone.
