Calling on Crew Operator At Maersk Tankers, we are experts in owning and operating tankers and gas carriers - through the energy transition. Your opportunity to join the adventure In Crewing, you will join a team of talented and welcoming colleagues. Based in our Copenhagen office, you will join our Crewing team and report to the Crew Manager. You will support the day-to-day delivery of crewing operations across an assigned fleet, helping ensure our vessels are manned safely and with compliant crew. Working closely with seafarers, vessels, manning agencies and colleagues across the organisation, you will execute on crew planning, crew changes, certification follow-up, travel coordination, and crew administration tasks. You will collaborate closely with our Crewing team in Singapore and be an active part of the day-to-day crewing activities supporting our global fleet. Key responsibilities include

  • Execute crew planning and crew change arrangements
  • Ensure oil major matrix requirements are met
  • Coordinate crew related logistics
  • Follow up on crew certification, training and employment documentation
  • Support payroll, illness and insurance cases
  • General crew administration
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with crew and key stakeholders

Travel may occasionally be required for vessel visits, crew seminars, conferences and other relevant activities. Are you part of the solution?   • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience within crewing, maritime personnel administration, HR operations, or ship operations support
  • Knowledge of STCW and MLC Convention
  • Experience with crew planning, crew changes, crew administration, or certification management
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of tanker vessel operations is an advantage
  • Experience with a personnel management system is an advantage. We use Compas as our Crewing system.
