What you'll do

About the role As Creative Strategist at WoodUpp, you’ll take creative ownership of one of our three product universes, with paid social as your primary focus. You’ll develop its creative strategy, turn customer insights into ideas, and bring those ideas to life through your own content creation and collaboration with others. You’ll shape what we communicate, which stories we tell, and what we test next. Working with our in-house creative team, external creators, marketing specialists, and local market teams, you’ll follow the work from the first insight through production to performance review. This is a role for someone who enjoys both setting the direction and making the work: writing scripts, filming, editing, and learning from how customers respond. About WoodUpp WoodUpp is a Scandinavian design brand helping people transform their spaces. Our three product universes are:

  • Akupanel: Sound-dampening slat wall panels.
  • Aluwood: Outdoor slat wall panels.
  • Embrace: Modular room dividers.

We make most of our products in our own facilities in Denmark and the USA, and sell directly to design lovers and design professionals across 20 markets on four continents. You’ll join an ambitious marketing team of 10, with paid advertising across Meta, Google, and Pinterest. You’ll work closely with our creative team, UX, CRO, and email marketing specialists, as well as our performance marketing agencies. Your responsibilities: Own the creative direction for your product universe Develop a clear creative strategy. Define the audiences, customer needs, messages, and stories to prioritise, keeping the creative direction consistent with WoodUpp’s identity. Turn customer insights into ideas Use customer reviews, research, feedback, and campaign results to understand what inspires people and what holds them back. Turn those insights into campaign concepts, advertising angles, hooks, and stories for different stages of the customer journey. Explore competitors and relevant trends, translate product features into meaningful benefits, and find fresh ways to show what customers can achieve in their own spaces. Create content and lead production Create content yourself and bring in the right people for each brief. Identify suitable creators, customer projects, locations, and talent. Write clear briefs, give useful feedback, and coordinate delivery with:

  • In-house specialists: Produce campaign assets, product photography, video, design, and copy.
  • UGC creators: Find and brief creators, source customer-generated content, and select material for campaigns.
  • Local freelance videographers: Produce customer case videos, project photography, and ad creatives in local languages.
  • Adapt content across channels and markets

Work with channel specialists to get more from each production. A customer project, for example, could become a case video, several ads, still images, and an email story. Coordinate local versions with market teams and help test additional channels as they become relevant. Test, learn and improve Build a structured approach to testing concepts, messages, hooks, and formats. Review results with performance marketing colleagues and use data and customer feedback to decide what to develop, improve, or stop. Each round of work should deepen your understanding of the customer and give you a stronger starting point for the next campaign. What you bring

  • Experience in creative strategy, performance marketing and content creation.
  • Hands-on skills in scriptwriting, filming, and editing, plus an understanding of how the experience on a landing page - after the click - connects to the creative.
  • A test-and-learn mindset: You think carefully about audiences, the situations that lead people to consider a product, and the messages that resonate.
  • High standards for your craft and the ambition to keep improving. You stay curious about trends, technology and AI tools, and apply what makes the work better.

Why join WoodUpp

  • Creative ownership of a product universe, with a meaningful budget and responsibility from concept to results.
  • In-house creators, designers, and external production partners across international markets, with a short path from idea to execution.
  • A beautiful workspace and our own studio.
  • Flexibility to work remotely, with at least three days a week in our Ribe office.
