Control, Instrumentation & Telecoms Lead Engineer

We’re Hiring: Control, Instrumentation & Telecoms Lead Engineer | Italy Are you an experienced Control, Instrumentation & Telecoms Engineer with a strong background in offshore Oil & Gas projects? Do you have the technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee complex engineering activities and ensure safe, efficient project execution? We are looking for a Control, Instrumentation & Telecoms Lead Engineer to join a major offshore development project in Italy. Your Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee control, instrumentation, telecommunications and cybersecurity engineering activities.
• Coordinate and supervise engineering activities across topsides scopes, ensuring effective multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with project objectives, technical standards, contractual requirements and safety expectations.
• Lead technical evaluations, design reviews and verification activities, ensuring comments and actions are properly addressed and closed out.
• Review material requisitions and technical bids, providing recommendations for award.
• Manage technical queries and support the resolution of concessions and deviations.
• Coordinate with EPCI contractors, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Contribute to project progress reporting, technical presentations and overall project execution.
• Support the transition from detailed design and fabrication engineering to onshore functional testing and offshore hook-up and commissioning (HUC).

Your Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in Oil & Gas engineering, either with an operator, contractor or supplier.
• Previous experience as a Control, Instrumentation & Telecoms Lead Engineer or in a similar engineering leadership role.
• Experience with EPCI/C contracts and offshore project execution.
• Good knowledge of cybersecurity risks and mitigation measures.
• Experience with engineering design, equipment and materials procurement.
• Familiarity with staged-gate project execution models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
