What you'll do

About the role As Content Director at T&P Nordic, you will lead the strategy, planning and delivery of content for assigned clients across the Nordic region. You will build and run an efficient, high-quality content operation that delivers timely, on-brand, creative content tailored to clients’ context and inline with their objectives. You will be the primary lead for content scopes and delivery, bringing clarity to briefs, priorities, timelines, budgets and resourcing. Working closely with Creative, Planning, Account and Business teams, you will turn brand platforms and campaign ideas into scalable content systems that balance creative ambition, local relevance, speed and efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead and develop a small Nordic content team, establish clear ways of working and continuously improve how content is briefed, produced, localised, quality-checked and published. Key responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Nordic content strategy for assigned clients, translating business and brand objectives, audience insights, platform behaviours and local cultural nuances into clear strategic frameworks.
  • Define channel roles, content pillars, formats and editorial principles that balance regional consistency with local relevance.
  • Lead content operations for assigned clients across Nordic markets, covering always-on brand building, tactical and campaign adaptation work.
  • Own content delivery from intake through to publication, working closely with account teams and clients to clarify scope, deliverables, responsibilities and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain market-specific content plans and calendars, aligned with brand, channel and campaign plans.
  • Lead, but also have the ability to be hands on in translating brand platforms and campaign concepts into content pillars, copy decks, briefs and modular, template-ready systems.
  • Establish and improve workflows for intake, prioritisation, briefing, resourcing, production, approvals, quality assurance and publishing.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Nordic content team, providing clear direction, constructive feedback and opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure content is on-brand, on-brief and accurate, and reflects local language, culture and channel best practice.
  • Partner with the Creative Director and Content Producers to uphold tone of voice, visual systems and transcreation standards.
  • Assess when work can be delivered through adaptation and when it requires new creative development or a different visual direction; raise these needs early.
  • Oversee content capacity and prioritisation, setting realistic expectations and communicating trade-offs clearly.
  • Manage content budgets and resourcing with Business, including the use of freelancers and external partners.
  • Define and track delivery and performance KPIs, such as content volume, quality, engagement, click-through rate (CTR), error rates and on-time delivery. Use insights to improve content strategy, plans, formats and messaging.

Experience and qualifications

  • Several years’ experience in a content, production or digital marketing role, in an agency or in-house. Relevant backgrounds might include Head of Content, Head of Social, Executive Producer, Senior Content Producer or similar.
  • Proven experience leading multi-market content operations, ideally across the Nordics or a comparable region.
  • Strong understanding of social and digital platforms, channel-native formats and how to extend campaign ideas into always-on content.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects end to end, including scopes, timelines, budgets and complex stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience leading and developing teams, and managing workflows across multiple markets.
  • Confidence working closely with creative, strategy, account and business teams.
  • Good working knowledge of content and project management tools, social scheduling and publishing platforms, and digital asset management (DAM) systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate strategy into clear content plans, briefs and practical guidance.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English. Proficiency in any of the other Nordic languages is a bonus.

Office location: Stockholm, Sweden Personal qualities You are a natural leader who combines strategic thinking with operational discipline. You enjoy building teams and systems, not just managing individual projects, and you bring clarity and focus to busy, multi-market environments. You stay calm under pressure, make decisions when priorities compete and can say no – or reframe a request – without damaging relationships. You lead through coaching and trust, giving your team clear direction and guardrails while encouraging initiative. You are also a confident communicator, able to move between creative discussions, operational detail and business conversations about scope, timing and value.
