This is a responsible role in an international working environment and a long-term project, where you will take an active role in leading day-to-day site operations.
What will you be doing?
As a Construction Supervisor, you will lead the daily work of a construction and installation team and assign tasks to the team members. You will supervise work including the installation of façade elements, plasterboard and metal stud framing, technical suspended ceilings and interior construction.
You will ensure that the team has access to the correct drawings, materials and tools, and that all work is carried out in accordance with safe working methods. You will monitor the progress, schedule and quality of the work, resolve practical day-to-day challenges on site and coordinate your teams activities with other contractors in an international working environment.
What do we expect from you?
We expect you to have previous experience in construction supervision or in a similar role involving responsibility for a construction team. You have a practical understanding of building construction processes and are able to read construction and structural drawings.
You are capable of leading international teams in a clear, practical and hands-on manner, and you are able to work fluently in English. Success in this role requires a proactive approach and the flexibility to work longer days and weekends when necessary.
You may have a relevant qualification in construction or strong professional expertise gained through practical work experience.
What do we offer?
We offer long-term employment on a significant project in Seinäjoki, as well as the opportunity to build a longer-term career on future construction sites in Finland and abroad.
Your standard working hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs of the site, you will also have the opportunity to work longer days and weekends.
Your salary will be agreed based on your experience and expertise.
