Compliance officer

We are strengthening our compliance organisation and is looking for a Compliance & Legal Manager to lead compliance governance, risk management and legal oversight across Missionpharma. In this newly established role, you will be the appointed Compliance Officer and trusted advisor to senior management. You will ensure that compliance, sanctions and anti-corruption requirements are effectively implemented and managed, while supporting Missionpharma's mission of improving access to healthcare in some of the world's most challenging environments. You will play a key role in shaping and continuously strengthening our compliance framework, governance processes and risk management approach in close collaboration with colleagues across Missionpharma, our sister company, Fazzini, and our parent company, CFAO Healthcare. The position is based at our Danish headquarters in Lynge, so a valid working permit for Denmark is required. You will be responsible for:

• Acting as Missionpharma and Fazzini's appointed Compliance Officer and compliance expert.
• Owning and continuously strengthening compliance governance, frameworks, policies and risk management processes.
• Making decisions and providing guidance on sanctions, due diligence, vetting, anti-corruption matters and other high-risk compliance issues.
• Advising management, the Compliance Committee and key stakeholders on compliance risks, investigations and governance matters.
• Providing legal advice to key stakeholders on contract review and contract risk assessment.
• Driving compliance improvement initiatives, audits, risk reviews and regulatory implementation across the organisation.
• Managing and developing the compliance team, including direct management of the Compliance Program Manager in Denmark, while ensuring effective collaboration with CFAO Healthcare's Legal and Compliance functions.

You will work closely with colleagues across Denmark, India and China, supporting compliance initiatives in a diverse and internationally connected organisation. Our expectations for you: You have experience within compliance, governance, risk management and contract review, and you enjoy translating regulatory requirements into practical business solutions. Furthermore, you are comfortable working independently in a complex international environment. You hold a relevant Master's degree in Law, Business Law, Corporate Governance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related discipline. You bring:

• Strong expertise in compliance governance, risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with sanctions, due diligence, anti-corruption requirements and high-risk compliance decision-making.
• Experience reviewing commercial agreements and assessing legal and contract-related risks.
• High integrity, sound judgement and the confidence to challenge constructively when needed.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken. Danish and French is an advantage.
