Commissioning Manager

Commissioning Manager – Data Centres Stavanger region, Norway | Salary open, depending on experience We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning delivery on a data centre project in Norway’s Stavanger region. You’ll bring structure to the testing programme, coordinate the teams involved and drive systems through to a successful handover. The role

• Lead the commissioning programme, coordinating sequencing, milestones and readiness across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Work closely with the construction team, specialist contractors, equipment vendors and client representatives.
• Oversee commissioning plans, test procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate functional testing and integrated systems testing, ensuring issues are identified, resolved and retested.
• Manage commissioning progress, outstanding defects and the evidence required for handover.
• Keep stakeholders informed of risks, dependencies and actions needed to achieve completion.

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience as a Commissioning Manager on data centre projects is essential.
• A strong understanding of critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure and how systems operate together.
• Experience managing commissioning teams and coordinating multiple contractors and vendors.
• The confidence to challenge incomplete work, resolve issues and maintain clear standards under programme pressure.
• Strong spoken and written English. Norwegian language skills are preferred, but English-speaking candidates with the right experience are welcome.

Location and salary The role is based in the Stavanger region of Norway, and applications are welcome from candidates already in Norway and those based abroad who are willing to relocate.
