Commissioning Lead – Data Centre Location: Central Sweden Contract: Long-term Working Pattern: Site-based / rotational Leap29 is currently supporting the delivery of a major Data Centre development in Central Sweden and is looking for an experienced Commissioning Lead to join the project on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading and coordinating commissioning activities on site, working closely with project management, engineering, construction, subcontractors, vendors and client teams to ensure systems are safely and successfully tested, commissioned and handed over. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate commissioning activities across the project.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate commissioning teams, subcontractors, vendors and client representatives.
• Plan and manage testing, inspections, functional testing and system handover.
• Coordinate interfaces between electrical, mechanical, controls/BMS and other project disciplines.
• Monitor commissioning progress, identify issues and drive resolution.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues throughout commissioning.
• Ensure commissioning activities are delivered in line with programme, quality and HSE requirements.
• Maintain accurate commissioning records, test documentation and handover packs.
• Provide regular progress updates to project management and client stakeholders. Commissioning Lead

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Commissioning Lead, Commissioning Manager or Senior Commissioning Engineer.
• Data Centre experience preferred, although candidates from Pharma, battery manufacturing or other large-scale technically complex projects will also be considered.
• Strong electrical and/or MEP commissioning background.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary commissioning activities and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of testing, commissioning, handover and close-out processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working within demanding site-based project environments. Commissioning Lead

Working Arrangement Both fully site-based and rotational candidates can be considered. The rotation can be structured around returning home between site periods, with some remote working possible between rotations where project requirements allow.
