Commissioning Director EMEA

About the role Brightsmith is currently supporting a fast-growing AI infrastructure business looking for a Commissioning Director to lead commissioning across a major European data centre portfolio. The role will lead the commissioning strategy, standards, team and operational readiness across projects in the Nordics, UK and wider Europe, with significant exposure to next-generation, high-density AI infrastructure. The ideal profile • 10+ years’ critical facilities experience, with 8+ years leading commissioning programmes • Strong hyperscale / large-scale data centre commissioning experience • Proven L5 / IST and HV/MV commissioning expertise • Experience with liquid-cooled / high-density environments (highly desirable) • Strong client/owner-side commissioning experience • Ability to build and lead international teams and commissioning standards from the ground up • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background This is a senior leadership opportunity with genuine ownership, shaping the commissioning function for a rapidly scaling AI data centre platform.
