Senior Commercial Technology Lawyers (Belgian & Swedish Qualified) | EMEA | 6-12 Month Contract We're looking to connect with Belgian and Swedish-qualified Commercial Technology Lawyers for an exciting opportunity with a leading global technology business. This role sits at the intersection of cloud, SaaS, software licensing, data privacy, and digital transformation, supporting complex commercial transactions across EMEA. Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, structuring, and negotiating complex:
- Cloud infrastructure agreements
- SaaS agreements
- Enterprise software licensing agreements
- Digital transformation contracts
- Advising on data protection and privacy matters, including:
- GDPR
- Cross-border data transfers
- Data residency requirements
- Security incident response
- Drafting and negotiating:
- Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
- Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Information Security Addenda
- Advising on open-source software, intellectual property, and technology-related regulatory matters
- Supporting legal and business stakeholders on emerging regulatory developments, including AI and digital regulation
- Developing contract playbooks, templates, and self-service contracting tools
- Providing practical, risk-based advice to commercial, product, engineering, and leadership teams
About You
- Qualified in Belgium or Sweden
- Strong experience in:
- Commercial contracts
- Cloud and SaaS agreements
- Software licensing
- Technology transactions
- Data privacy and GDPR
- Intellectual Property
- Background within a technology, software, cloud, telecoms, or digital business
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Fluent English plus relevant regional language skills:
- Dutch and/or French (Belgian-qualified lawyers)
- Swedish (Swedish-qualified lawyers)
