COBOL / Mainframe Developer | Banking & Financial Services Location: Stockholm, Sweden Start Date: ASAP Industry: Banking / Financial Services Specialism: Mainframe Development | Clearing & Settlement The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced COBOL / Mainframe Developer to join a banking technology environment in Stockholm, working with business-critical systems supporting clearing, settlement and financial transactions. This is an opportunity to work with established mainframe technologies that play a vital role in processing financial transactions reliably and securely. • Developing, maintaining and enhancing COBOL applications running on IBM mainframe systems.
• Working with systems supporting banking clearing and settlement operations.
• Troubleshooting, debugging and resolving issues within business-critical applications.
• Working with DB2 databases, batch processing and transaction workflows.
• Supporting application changes, testing and releases in a controlled banking environment.
• Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to maintain system reliability and performance.

• OPC Scheduler
• XML / pureXML

Banking Experience Previous experience working within banking, particularly clearing and settlement systems, is important. Additional understanding of payment processing, financial transaction flows and banking operations would be highly beneficial. Interested?
