CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our client in the metal industry. This position is suitable for someone who can independently operate laser cutting machines, read technical drawings, create nesting layouts, and manage the entire cutting process, from machine setup to quality control. Your responsibilities include: * Cutting metal sheets according to technical drawings and production programs * Operating and setting up laser cutting machines * Creating and modifying nesting layouts to ensure efficient material utilization * Using CypCut, HypNest, or other similar laser cutting and nesting software * Optimizing nesting layouts to minimize material waste * Adjusting machine parameters for different materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum * Checking the dimensions and quality of finished parts * Sorting and preparing cut parts for the next production stages * Performing basic machine maintenance and keeping the workstation clean and organized What we expect from you: * Previous experience operating laser cutting machines, such as Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Finn-Power, or similar equipment * Strong nesting skills and experience in creating sheet metal layouts * Experience using CypCut, HypNest, or other similar software * Ability to independently create and modify nesting programs * Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings * Good understanding of different sheet metal materials and their cutting parameters * Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the quality of your work * Willingness to work in three shifts * Good communication skills in Finnish or English Interested?
