Client Services & Catalogue Operations Manager to Y Royalties & Pophouse

Are you experienced in music rights, catalogue administration, agreement terms and stakeholder coordination? Y Royalties × Pophouse is now looking for a structured and communicative person to join the team in Stockholm. This is a role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of music catalogues, agreements, rights information, documentation and client services. You will act as an important link between Pophouse, Y Royalties and different internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that catalogue and agreement-related information is accurate, accessible and clearly communicated. This is not primarily a royalty accounting, licensing, sales or deal-closing role. The focus is instead on understanding agreements, maintaining catalogue and agreement information, coordinating questions between specialist teams and making sure processes move forward. About the role In this role, you will support the ongoing management of music catalogue and agreement information. You will work closely with Pophouse, Y Royalties and internal specialist teams across areas such as rights management, data, royalties, legal and documentation. A central part of the role is being able to understand complex agreements and how agreement terms apply to different parts of a catalogue. You will also help coordinate questions between different stakeholders, follow up on missing information and support documentation processes connected to catalogue acquisitions and ongoing catalogue management. Main responsibilities Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and quality-assuring catalogue and agreement information
• Reading and understanding complex agreements and how agreement terms apply to catalogues
• Coordinating questions between Pophouse, Y Royalties and internal specialist teams
• Acting as a key point of contact for questions relating to catalogue data, agreement terms, rights information and documentation
• Following up on missing documentation from sellers, selling teams and other external parties
• Supporting data room and documentation processes
• Helping identify whether a question belongs with data, rights management, royalties, legal or another specialist team
• Coordinating several parallel workstreams and ensuring clear communication between stakeholders
• Making sure relevant information is followed up, clarified and kept up to date

Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with experience from the music industry, preferably from a role involving client services, catalogue operations, rights administration, repertoire administration, publisher services, member services, label services or artist & label services. You do not need to be a royalty accountant or a licensing specialist. However, you do need to be comfortable working with agreements, catalogue information, rights structures, documentation and stakeholders. We believe you may have a background from a:

• Record label
• Music publisher
• PRO/CMO
• Member services team
• Client services team
• Publisher services or writer services function
• Rights administration or repertoire administration team
• Artist & label services or label services organisation
• Catalogue operations or rights management environment

To succeed in the role, we believe you have

• Good understanding of the music industry and music rights
• Experience working with agreements, agreement terms or rights information
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to coordinate between internal teams and external stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow up, clarify and move processes forward
• An interest in catalogues, music rights and how rights information is used in practice
• Strong English skills, both written and spoken

Experience from client-facing or stakeholder-facing roles within music rights is highly valuable. As a person You are structured, communicative and service-minded. You enjoy being the person who connects the right people, information and processes. You are detail-oriented but also able to understand the bigger picture. You are confident asking questions, following up on missing information and making sure things do not fall between different teams or stakeholders.
