What you'll do

Job Description Biology is the most powerful technology on the planet. It cures disease, feeds civilizations, and decarbonizes entire industries. And yet the scientists and labs producing the breakthroughs that will define the next century still run on pen and paper, pipettes, and spreadsheets. We're fixing that. Reshape is building the operating system for biological research - robotics and AI that automate data capture and turn raw experiments into decisions. Our customers are the largest Biosolutions, CPG, Biotech, and Pharma organizations on Earth. We're backed by Y Combinator and top-tier venture investors, and the world's largest R&D, CPG and Biotech organizations that run on our platform. We're hiring a Chief of Staff in Copenhagen to lead Business Operations and keep the company running efficiently at every level; from redlining a contract to sitting in the Job requirements This role has an unusually wide scope and impact. In the same week, you might redline an MSA, prepare materials for a board meeting, close out a security audit, or drive a company-wide AI initiative. You'll work closely with the founders and leadership team, taking ownership of critical areas that need a capable operator rather than a dedicated function. We don't expect you to know everything from day one. We do expect you to be an exceptional problem solver who can navigate unfamiliar territory, make sound decisions, and see things through to completion. You'll build and improve the systems, processes, and structures that keep the company running efficiently, taking responsibility for making our operations better as we scale. What You Would Be Doing Business Operations

  • Support commercial deal execution, from contract reviews and redlining to resolving legal, IT, and information security requirements.
  • Lead our information security and compliance programme, coordinating stakeholders to deliver ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits, maintain policies and controls, and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Implement and own internal business systems for compliant and efficient execution.
  • Coordinate employment compliance across the jurisdictions where we operate, working with external advisors where needed.

Board & Investor Relations

  • Administer our equity programme end to end and maintain the cap table and warrant registers.
  • Prepare board materials and written consents, and play a key role in investor reporting and fundraising processes.
  • Own all-hands and other company-wide meetings, setting the agenda, shaping the narrative, and ensuring they are purposeful and engaging.

Company-wide project execution

  • Push our internal AI adoption from an already solid starting point. Identify, build, and roll out AI-powered workflows that meaningfully improve how teams operate, from automating repetitive work to redesigning core internal processes.
  • Own high-priority, cross-functional projects, driving them from problem definition to completion.

Job responsibilities We are looking for someone whose default mode is execution, not coordination. You'd rather take responsibility for getting the contract signed, the audit closed, and the board deck finished than simply manage the process. You move comfortably between legal and financial detail and strategic, board-level conversations, and you're trusted with sensitive information. You exercise sound judgement, earn trust quickly, and don't need a playbook to get started. You don't stop at identifying problems, but you take responsibility for solving them. What You Bring

  • Experience from a demanding, fast-paced environment that taught you rigour and execution. You might come from law, consulting, or ideally an operations role in an ambitious, scaling company.
  • Strong commercial and analytical judgement, and genuine comfort in spreadsheets and models.
  • A track record of finishing things without being chased.
  • Excellent written English; Danish is an advantage given our employment law and governance context.
  • Comfort with legal and contractual language, or the appetite to build it quickly. No prior security, equity, or biotech experience required.
  • Real fluency with modern AI tools, and the drive to push their use across the company rather than just your own workflow.

Job benefits You'll join a company tackling one of the most meaningful and technically interesting challenges out there: transforming how biological research is done. You'll work alongside an ambitious, highly capable team building technology with the potential to accelerate scientific breakthroughs and reshape entire industries. You'll work directly with the founders, leadership team, board, and the investors behind Reshape, including top-tier VCs. You'll own meaningful parts of the business from day one, with the autonomy to make decisions, solve hard problems, and see the impact of your work. This is an opportunity to develop the range, judgement, and experience required to eventually lead a function or run a company. You'll join at a point where the fundamentals are proven, but the company is still early enough for you to shape how we operate as we grow. We offer a competitive salary, equity, and a high degree of flexibility.
