CFO to Monterro Portco in Oslo or Stockholm

One of Monterro's portfolio companies is looking for a new CFO. The company is a Nordic B2B software business with operations in several European countries and a recent acquisition under its belt. Monterro, a Nordic B2B software investor with 33 portfolio companies, and is building towards its next ownership chapter. The CFO seat is opening up, and we would rather fill it sooner than later. The role

• Full ownership of finance: group accounting, consolidation and reporting across countries
• Build transaction readiness together with the CEO, board and Monterro: a finance function, a financial model and data that stand up to due diligence when the time comes
• Integrate the recent acquisition and support further M&A
• Run cash, forecasting and monthly reporting to CEO, board and owners
• Lead a distributed finance team across the group
• Stay for the long journey and build the finance function for the growth phase ahead

Who you are

• Experienced CFO or head of group finance in an international software or tech company
• Have been through at least one exit or sell-side process, ideally in a PE-owned company, and know what it takes to be ready for one
• Strong in group accounting and multi-country consolidation. An audit background is a plus
• Hands-on: when it matters, you build the model, dig into the numbers and get the consolidation out yourself
• Know due diligence and acquisitions from the inside
• Fluent in SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, retention) and used to owners who read them closely
• Fluent in one Scandinavian language and in English, with long experience of working on the ground in the Nordics
• Available within weeks, not months
