Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Biosolutions Confidential Opportunity | Copenhagen, Denmark | Venture-backed Biosolutions Company Are you ready to lead a science-driven company through its next phase of growth? We are supporting an ambitious, venture-backed biosolutions company in the search for its next CEO. The company has developed a promising technology platform and is now preparing for a pivotal new chapter - securing Series A funding, strengthening its commercial foundations and positioning the business for long-term growth. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially driven leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in an early-stage environment. The opportunity As CEO, you will take overall responsibility for advancing the business, working closely with an experienced founding team and board. Your key priorities will include:

• Lead the upcoming Series A fundraising process, developing a compelling equity story and engaging with investors.
• Drive commercial strategy, business development and strategic partnerships.
• Translate scientific and technological progress into a clear, investable business proposition.
• Take ownership of financial planning, organisational development and day-to-day business operations.
• Build on the company's existing strengths and position it for its next stage of growth.

Everything in close collaboration with the founding team and the board. Who we are looking for You are likely to have experience from a startup or scaleup within biosolutions, biotechnology or another science-driven B2B industry. Ideally, you bring:

• Meaningful involvement in institutional fundraising, preferably at Series A level.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate a compelling vision to investors, partners and stakeholders.
• Experience developing and growing businesses in complex, technology-driven markets.
• A solid understanding of financial management and business operations.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the willingness to operate hands-on in a small, ambitious organisation.
• Strong people leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with founders and technical specialists.

Previous CEO experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. We are equally interested in ambitious commercial or operational leaders ready to take the next step. Why join?
